The robot is then able to move exactly in synch with the wearer’s natural limb, at the same time providing a significant increase in power to assist with the movement. The scientist also announced he was joining forces with Kawasaki, a city south of Tokyo, to explore ways opportunities for the real-life use of his robo-suits. “We don’t want people to see individuals wearing our products and think ‘Gee, it must be so hard (to live with ailments)’,” Professor Sankai told AFP.
