I think that, depending on how you construct your programming for it, it would be possible because certain car producers have already set to work on driverless cars. However, I think that driverless planes is virtually impossible because there are lots of different uncontrollable scenarios that could happen which nobody would be expecting .

The accurate definate of a robot is that they are a machine that is heavily relied upon a series of programmed instructions that tells youn what the robot has to do.
