Robotic teachers? Part 3

The King's School Pontefract

For a start robots can assure the same teaching standards not only from lesson to lesson but school to school! If global cooperation has advanced much then maybe even country to country! Overall I think it is an exciting possibility however at the end of the day there are too many problems to overcome. Sorry for the long speech.

Robotic Teachers? Part 2

The King's School Pontefract

First we would like to focus on a too often occurrence in schools… Discipline. How exactly would a robot enact punishments? Would it have punishments that fit the crimes? Would they be too severe? Would they vary? These all must be considered before the robots enter the classroom. Secondly I would like to contemplate occurrences in the classroom that are apart from the everyday norm. What would happen if a student threw up or something happened the robot was unable to cope with? The robot would be unable to do anything but watch! Positives can be proposed too however.

Robotic teachers? Part 1

The King's School Pontefract

Robots in the teaching industry is an exciting possibility to discover. Teachers are underpaid and mistreated leaving to a vacuum in today’s schools. Robots would fill this vacuum with ease however there are a few points to be considered. First we would like to focus on a too often occurrence in schools… Discipline. Robotic doctors.

The King's School Pontefract

The concept of robots in the healthcare industry is fascinating and one we would gladly explore. Robots could do so much more than humans in that they are more precise and faster reacting. They can have any number of things built into them such as an infra-red camera or a defibrillator. They don't have to be humanoid in form either. They could be a box in the street or in the waiting room. They could be compact. They could make accidents in surgery a thing of the past. This is of course providing, in the end that we can get the technology correct.

The future transport of today

The King's School Pontefract

We find the possibility of cars in the future fascinating as the world dives into the possibilities. Not only are robots already driving cars in cruise control and more modern prototypes, they are helping to fly planes and other vehicles. soon any input from the driver will be forgotten!
